New Improved Services & Features

Welcome back. You maybe wondering what's changed? Well, quite a lot, all aimed at improving service to you. These changes are as a result of Royal Mail slowing considerably during COVID and sadly not showing any sign of improvement in the near future, so we have decided to change the way we deliver. 

1. Free Delivery has been temporarily extended to 5 working days. A lot of smaller orders using the free delivery option are delivered via Royal Mail - COVID has slowed their network and so we must adjust expectations of delivery times to 5 working days. Some areas are better than others, but this service is not guaranteed and should only be used for non-urgent orders. We hope to review this measure as soon as we see improvement in the Royal Mail Network.

2. All paid delivery orders will now be sent via DPD on a next weekday delivery. Everything tracked, everything faster with more certainty. Order by 1pm and get your order the next weekday. The only exception to this is disposable helium which goes by Yodel again on a next weekday service. This service is subsidised by us as far as we can and so will only cost customers £4 per delivery. Competitors range from £6-8 for the same service.

3. 10% Off orders over £50 inc VAT - Great Value just got even better. Not available on the free 5 working day Royal Mail delivery offer. Rental Helium will not be included in this offer so order that separately. We suggest one balloon / accessory order over £50 to get the additional discount and then one order for helium.

4. Handling fee remains. Orders under £30 are still asked for a £2 handling fee as wholesale margins are very low across our products.

5. Great new COMBINE ORDERS feature. This has piloted really well and proved very useful for customers so we have refined it a bit further. 

  • Place a starting order, paying the £4 delivery fee or choosing the free 5 working day Royal Mail option. If you then wish to place another order to try and get it combined so you do not pay delivery again, simply email our helpdesk with the order number of the original order to see if you can add to it. If the order has not been despatched to our couriers or Royal Mail, we will email back a checkout discount code that you can apply to remove the delivery charge. Sadly, if the original order has been despatched we will be unable to combine anything else to it.​​​​​​​
